Farflung is an educational geography puzzle built around an unlabeled world atlas. Each expedition presents five clues with multiple possible country answers. Instead of choosing the most recognizable destination, your goal is to identify valid but lesser-known nations for higher distance scores. Explore 195 countries and aim for a perfect 500 km expedition!

EXPLORE CLUES AND DROP PINS IN FARFLUNG

Farflung challenges you to interpret geographical clues and locate matching territories directly on the map. Each correct country earns distance according to its familiarity tier, making obscure answers especially valuable:

• Common: 40 km for recognizable countries.
• Uncommon: 55 km for moderately familiar nations.
• Rare: 70 km for lesser-known countries.
• Very Rare: 85 km for obscure territories.
• Rarest: 100 km for the most remote candidates.

Invalid countries and pins outside land borders earn zero distance. Your strategy involves balancing safe selections against riskier guesses with greater rewards.

• Classic: Solve each clue within 60 seconds.
• Wander: Explore without time restrictions.
• Daily Expedition: Five shared global clues refreshed at midnight UTC.
• Unlimited: Start endless randomized five-clue expeditions.
