MAKE EVERY BLOCK PLACEMENT COUNT

In Block Blast, examine your three available pieces before choosing where each shape belongs. You use the mouse to drag and drop blocks onto empty grid spaces to place them into the main board. Completing horizontal or vertical lines will clear their blocks and create room for new placements. This standard Classic Mode offers no rotation, so every shape needs a suitable position.

Your score grows through individual block placements, completed lines, and consecutive clearing combos. Multiple lines cleared together create valuable scoring opportunities, but crowded corners can restrict your options. Careful planning matters because your run ends when none of the available pieces fit anywhere on the board.

Build a Better Block Strategy

A high score in Block Blast comes from keeping future placements possible, not simply clearing the first available line.

• Preserve open central spaces for larger and awkward block shapes.
• Look for placements that complete both a row and a column.
• Consider the entire tray before committing to your first placement.
• Fill spaces that could become difficult to reach with later pieces.
• Keep enough room for straight blocks with several connected squares.
• Choose placements that leave useful spaces for upcoming shapes.
• Plan consecutive line clears instead of breaking a promising setup.
