The main rule of Retakes.io centers on an explosive that is already active when the round begins. Counter-Terrorists need to push the bomb site, eliminate defenders, and defuse the bomb before time expires. Terrorists focus on holding their positions, protecting the planted bomb, and stopping the retake.

In Retakes.io, sharp crosshair placement, map knowledge, and smart positioning shape every encounter. Open areas expose careless players, while cover creates safer routes toward the site. Rifles, SMGs, shotguns, sniper rifles, pistols, and tactical grenades give players different ways to handle each fight.
